Nurse Practitioner – The Alresford Surgery
Why do we want you?
An opportunity has arisen for another Nurse Practitioner to join our friendly supportive clinical team. We are recruiting for up to 15 hours a week, preferably across a Thursday and Friday (Friday essential). The successful candidate will be an independent prescriber and have general practice experience. The role will involve assessment and management of patients requesting same day appointments, via telephone consultation, online access and seeing patients face to face.
Who are we?
We are a semi-rural, dispensing, training practice set in beautiful Alresford, serving a population of 9850 patients. We are spoilt with the area and population we provide healthcare for.
The practice has six partners, three salaried GPs and an experienced nurse practitioner who leads the nursing team. We are proud of how we support and communicate with each other.
Our three practice nurses and two health care assistants have years of experience and skills in treatment room, travel, woman’s health and chronic disease.
Our clinical team are supported well by our excellent management, administrative and reception teams. Many of our employees are long standing and have worked with us for years, a sign that we will look after you!
How will we support you?
- Morning briefing meetings with the whole team
- Encouraged to attend daily coffee break with all the clinical team
- Monthly nurses meeting to discuss hot topics, cases and share education
- Encouraged to attend quarterly educational meetings with all the GPs.
- A mentor for support and clinical supervision
